Implicit Bias - A Multipronged Approach to Improving Diversity and Inclusion

ABOUT THE PROGRAM: The Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities will facilitate a customized workshop to assist the Association of Legal Administrators Hampton Roads Chapter with its efforts to advance diversity inclusion. The workshop will focus on increasing awareness of unconscious bias and identifying ways to overcome bias. The session will help participants foster relationships and organizations characterized by respect and appreciation for difference. They will leave the program with enhanced knowledge in diversity awareness and bias reduction with motivation and skills necessary to continue working on these issues.

ABOUT VCIC: The Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities works with schools, businesses, and communities to achieve success by addressing prejudices, in all forms, in order to improve academic achievement, increase workplace productivity, and enhance local trust. Through workshops, retreats, and customized programs that raise knowledge, motivation, and skills, VCIC develops leaders who work together to achieve success throughout the Commonwealth.

Join Jonathan Zur, CEO Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities as he provides an interactive program to help us identify implicit bias and learn how to make our workplaces more inclusive.
